2Synergize Partners With Industry Leader George Fenich, Ph.D.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (July 2019) - 2Synergize, LLC. – a Simpleview consulting firm based in San Diego – has partnered with George G Fenich, Ph.D., co-founder of the firm Trends Analysis Projections (TAP). Fenich has long been a leader and innovator in the travel and tourism industry, creating analytics and solutions that help CVBs gauge their performance and make educated decisions on their sales strategies. 2Synergize now is the exclusive licensee of Fenich’s work in the CVB space.

Fenich will be working closely with 2Synergize and Simpleview to find new ways to use his research to serve destinations across the world, including a reimagined pace report, plus destination attractiveness, consumption benchmark, need period impact and event scoring profile analyses.

Among the most recognized and respected people in the CVB industry, Shimo has more than 30 years of hotel and CVB experience, helping clients excel in customer relationships, sales strategies and data-driven decision making.

Previously, Shimo spent eight years as the Director of Sales at several Marriott properties, and 16 years as EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at the San Diego CVB. 
In her time as a consultant, Shimo helped Destinations International launch several key products, including empowerMINT, the Economic Impact Calculator, and Overnight Room Demand Analyzer (ORDA).

2Synergize, LLC will continue to consult in the areas of:

  • Assess and analyze CVB sales strategies

  • Citywide sales strategy formulation with hotels and the convention center

  • Buyer insights customer research

  • Sales data analysis

Shimo will be transferring her knowledge to Simpleview’s existing support teams to create new sources of consulting and data analysis. Simpleview’s team and resources, combined with Shimo’s expertise and passion for the industry, will create endless opportunities for Simpleview’s clients.
